Since 1985, C.E. White has helped school districts in transporting students safely for 40 years. Whether students take daily bus routes or ride a multi-function school activity bus (MFSAB) on field trips, C.E. White builds seats to meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS). C.E. White introduced the first Integrated Child Restraint Seat for school buses, and we still make it today.

Designed specifically for activity buses, the Activity Seat 2.0 delivers comfort and support during extended travel. The modern design optimizes personal space while maintaining the crash protection standards school fleets require.

The Original Activity Seat
The original C.E. White Activity Seat remains the standard for many activity buses. It balances passenger comfort with maximum seating capacity.

This seat keeps passengers safe while also providing the comfort and legroom you need for children, teens, and adults. Optional 3-point or lap school bus seat belts meet FMVSS 210 standards to increase passenger safety. It meets all applicable FMVSS school bus safety standards.

Standard Seat
Our SB11 bus passenger seats combine low weight with modular mounting, allowing seamless configuration across diverse body makes and models. Built to endure demanding duty cycles, the seat structure maintains over 15 inches of at hip level for emergency egress without compromising perimeter strength.

3-Point Lap/Shoulder Belt Seat
Equipped with built-in 3-point lap and shoulder belts, the QS11 enhances passenger safety without compromising bus capacity. The engineered frame maintains over 15 inches of aisle space at the hip while preserving a standard 12-inch walkway at cushion level. This configuration satisfies seat belt mandates, supports rapid emergency egress, and keeps full passenger occupancy intact.

This seat features a 12.75-inch-wide child insert, the most spacious in the industry. The Integrated Child Restraint seat allows children from 26.5 to 90 lbs to sit comfortably and safely. Both styles provide safety and versatility unequaled in the school bus industry while meeting all applicable FMVSS Standards.
C.E. White Special Events Seat
Whether you’re going across town or across the country, team players and band members need a safe and comfortable ride. We designed the C.E. White Special Events Seat with all the safety features of our standard seat. We then added thick padding and shaped cushions to keep passengers comfortable on every trip.

C.E. White Special Events seats are available in vinyl, cloth, or both. The deep recess in the knee area gives you more seating space without losing comfort or safety.
